I am not sure what it is about tusks. I love the organic shape, the implied strength, the fact that they were huge in the 1970s...a decade that is far more chic with every passing year. I didn't love the 70s circa 1984 because I wanted everything adorned with neon, plastic, and geometric shapes. I still love 1984, but there is something so forbidden, now lost, about those disco years. The promiscuity and glam drugs of the 1970s certainly caused a bit of a ruckus...but the clothing, shoes, jewelry...
